Bristol

The city of Bristol, set on the edge of the river Avon, is located in the southwestern region of England. Recognised as a city from 1155, it was one of the three great cities of England between the 13th and 18th century. However, the Industrial Revolution was unable to maintain this position further, as other cities were rapidly on the rise in terms of scientific and technical developments.

The city of Bristol, which has a very large area relative to its population, also has a good transport network. It has historic ports due to its coast to the Atlantic Ocean. These historic ports were reorganized and reopened for recreational and other activities.
